I’m Claire Raggio, one of the faces behind The Floral House, a new flower stand that my husband, Andrew, and I are bringing to life in Santa Rosa, California!

Flowers have always been a passion, and because of that, some of my fondest childhood memories are of my mother and grandmother talking about their gardens, sharing their excitement over what was blooming. Their love for flowers was infectious, and I was captivated by the way they spoke about every plant with such admiration. To this day, I don’t think there is a flower my mom can’t name!

In 2022 we found ourselves standing on the deck of what we now know is our dream home. I remember looking out at the nearly blank canvas of the backyard and imagining it overflowing with flowers. Over the next couple of years, Andrew helped me turn that vision into a reality, and by 2024 we had a fully thriving garden.

That first season was full of excitement, success, and plenty of lessons learned. But from the moment I sowed my first seed, I was hooked. I vividly remember watching Growing Floret on Magnolia Network, listening to Erin Benzakein talk about her sea of seedlings with such passion, and thinking, ‘This is it-this is what I want to do’. I managed to get my hands on a few packets of her coveted Dahlia seeds that year, and I was determined to grow something just as beautiful as she has shown me.

Last summer I made countless bouquets for friends, family, and for every gathering we hosted. But I knew I wanted to share these bouquets with even more people. Because giving someone flowers isn’t just about the blooms… it’s about sharing happiness, joy, and a little bit of magic.

This spring, we’re making that dream a reality by opening The Floral House, our roadside flower stand, right here at our home in Santa Rosa, CA. We can’t wait to share our flowers with you! Whether you pick up a bouquet for yourself or someone you love, we hope it brings the same joy to you that it brings to us.

We’re opening the stand for the season on Saturday, June 21st at 9am!
