I’m Claire Raggio, one of the faces behind The Floral House, the little flower stand my husband, Andrew, and I dreamed up and brought to life here in Santa Rosa, California.

Flowers have always been woven into my life, and some of my sweetest childhood memories are of my mother and grandmother talking animatedly about their gardens—celebrating every new bud, every bloom, every tiny moment of beauty. Their love for flowers was contagious, and I was endlessly captivated by the way they spoke about each plant as if it had a personality all its own. To this day, I’m convinced there isn’t a flower my mom can’t name.

When we moved into our home in 2022, I remember standing on the deck, looking out over a wide, open backyard that felt like a blank canvas just waiting to come alive. Over the next few years, Andrew helped me turn that vision into something real, and by 2024 we were tending to a thriving garden bursting with color.

That first season taught me so much—patience, determination, and the magic of watching something tiny become something extraordinary. I still remember watching Growing Floret on the Magnolia Network, listening to Erin Benzakein describe her sea of seedlings, and thinking, “This is it—this is what I want to do.” I even managed to snag a few packets of her coveted dahlia seeds, determined to grow something just as special.

By last summer, I was making bouquets for friends, family, neighbors, and every gathering we hosted. And while those moments filled me up, I knew I wanted to share these flowers more widely. Because giving someone flowers isn’t just about handing over something pretty—it’s about offering joy, comfort, delight, and a little bit of magic.

In Spring 2025, we opened The Floral House for the very first time, and your support made our first year unforgettable. Now, as we look ahead to Spring 2026, we are thrilled to be entering our second season of growing, learning, and sharing the blooms we’ve poured our hearts into.

The stand will reopen for the 2026 season in late April (exact date coming soon!), and we can’t wait to welcome you back. Whether you stop by for a bouquet for yourself or someone you love, we hope our flowers bring you the same joy they bring to us every single day.
